An Inclusive Camp Designed Around How Children Truly Learn

The 7Q Inclusive Summer Camps are thoughtfully designed to support children of all abilities in a structured, welcoming environment. Our camps focus on inclusion, connection, and confidence-building, meeting each child where they are and honoring the many ways they experience the world. Through small groups and intentional programming, children are encouraged to explore, engage, and grow at their own pace.
At the heart of our camps is the Seven Senses approach. Beyond the five traditional senses, children also learn through movement, body awareness, emotions, and connection. By recognizing and supporting these different sensory experiences, our programs create space for meaningful learning, self-awareness, and positive social interaction, all within a calm, supportive setting.
7Q Weekend Camp
2026
Led by Experienced Staff
Our Weekend Camps are led by experienced professionals with backgrounds in special education, ABA, and inclusive programming. Each session is guided by a Lead Instructor and supported by two Assistants, ensuring campers receive individualized attention in a safe, supportive environment.
Small Group Size
Each Weekend Camp group includes up to six campers, allowing staff to meet children where they are and respond to individual needs in real time.
Low group sizes support smoother transitions, stronger peer relationships, and a calm, predictable experience where campers can engage, explore, and grow with confidence.
Multiple Spaces
Campers enjoy access to multiple indoor and outdoor learning spaces designed to support a variety of activities and sensory needs. From creative areas and quiet zones to open play spaces, children can move, explore, and learn in environments that suit their comfort and interests.
Secured Playground
Our secured playground offers a safe, enclosed outdoor space for movement, exploration, and play. Designed with safety and accessibility in mind, this area supports gross motor development, social interaction, and joyful outdoor experiences—giving families peace of mind while children play freely.
Designated Homerooms
Each group is assigned a designated home base space tailored to their developmental level and support needs.
These spaces provide consistency and routine, helping campers feel grounded and secure as they begin and end their session. Visual supports, age-appropriate materials, and structured setups help reduce transitions and support independence throughout the day.
What Sets Us Apart
7Q Weekend Camp 2026
Finding consistent, meaningful weekend activities for differently abled kids and teens can be a challenge, especially ones that offer calm, connection, and growth.
That’s why 7Q Weekend Day Camps were created: an inclusive, nature-based experience designed for kids who thrive in smaller, more supportive environments. From creative play to outdoor exploration, our weekend camps let each child grow at their own pace.

Important Information
Intake & Support Planning
After completing online registration, a Program Coordinator from The 7Q Foundation will follow up with a brief intake form to learn more about your child and how we can best support them during camp.
The intake form helps us understand each camper’s strengths, interests, and support needs so we can create a safe, positive experience for everyone. We ask families to share information related to:
-
Behaviors that may impact safety, such as difficulty remaining with the group or challenges with impulse control
-
Self-injurious behaviors or safety-related concerns
-
PICA
-
Motor or vocal tics, including Tourette’s
-
Any medical, behavioral, or emotional needs that may require additional planning or support
Sharing this information allows our team to thoughtfully plan staffing, accommodations, and supports. In some cases, we may reach out for clarification or to discuss whether additional supports are needed to ensure a successful experience.
Our intention is always support and preparedness—not exclusion—so that every camper feels safe, understood, and welcomed.
