Inclusive Summer Camps

7 Senses. Infinite ways to explore, connect, and grow.

An Inclusive Camp Designed Around How Children Truly Learn

Inclusive summer camp placeholder.png

The 7Q Inclusive Summer Camps are thoughtfully designed to support children of all abilities in a structured, welcoming environment. Our camps focus on inclusion, connection, and confidence-building, meeting each child where they are and honoring the many ways they experience the world. Through small groups and intentional programming, children are encouraged to explore, engage, and grow at their own pace.

At the heart of our camps is the Seven Senses approach. Beyond the five traditional senses, children also learn through movement, body awareness, emotions, and connection. By recognizing and supporting these different sensory experiences, our programs create space for meaningful learning, self-awareness, and positive social interaction, all within a calm, supportive setting.

Exploring the World Through All Seven Senses

Children experience and understand the world in many different ways. Beyond the five traditional senses, learning also happens through movement, body awareness, emotions, and connection. Our Seven Senses approach reflects the many ways children engage with their environment, helping them explore, learn, and connect in ways that feel natural and supportive.

At 7Q Inclusive Summer Camps, this framework guides how activities are designed and how children are supported throughout the day. By recognizing and honoring different sensory experiences, we create an environment that encourages confidence, self-awareness, and meaningful connection.

Parent Communication
We use ClassDojo as our primary platform for daily communication with families. Through ClassDojo, parents will receive routine updates, photos, announcements, and general information about their child’s camp experience. For urgent matters or emergencies, we will contact families directly using the phone numbers on file. Likewise, parents should use phone communication only for time-sensitive or emergency situations. This approach allows our staff to remain focused on supporting campers during the day while keeping families informed in a timely and organized way.

Sarah - Mom of two campers

"This was the first camp where my child truly felt safe, understood, and excited to attend each day. The staff didn’t just supervise, they connected. They met my child where they were, respected their needs, and helped them grow in confidence and independence. For the first time, camp felt joyful instead of overwhelming."

Peggy - Mom of two campers

I highly recommend the 7Q All-Inclusive Summer Camp. Both of my children—one neurotypical and one with special needs—had an amazing experience. The program is truly inclusive, well-structured, and engaging, with daily activities led by skilled therapists, special education teachers, and a compassionate team. What stood out most was how much both of my children grew socially while genuinely having fun. It’s a safe, supportive environment where kids truly thrive.

Important Information

Intake & Support Planning

After completing online registration, a Program Coordinator from our team will follow up with a brief intake form to help us understand how to best support your child during camp. The intake form allows us to plan appropriately for safety, staffing, and accommodations. Families are asked to share information related to:

  • Safety-related behaviors (e.g., elopement, impulse control challenges, PICA)

  • Self-injurious behaviors or other safety concerns

  • Motor or vocal tics (including Tourette’s)

  • Medical, behavioral, or emotional needs requiring additional planning

This information helps our team prepare thoughtfully and, when needed, follow up to ensure appropriate supports are in place. Our goal is preparedness and support, not exclusion, so every camper has a safe, positive, and successful experienc
