SPECIAL NEEDS PLANNING (SNP) CONFERENCE & RESOURCE FAIR 2025

In an effort to help parents and caregivers enter 2026 with clarity, confidence, and a concrete plan, the Special Needs Planning Conference was created as a comprehensive two-day event focused on education, empowerment, and connection. Whether you're navigating early intervention, preparing for IEP meetings, applying for Medicaid waivers, or planning for adulthood, this conference will equip you with the tools, resources, and support networks you need to start the new year strong. Our goal is to ensure every family feels informed, supported, and ready to take the next steps in their child’s journey.

  • Day 2 (In-Person): Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Conference

 

The Special Needs Planning Conference is an annual, two-day hybrid event designed to support families, caregivers, and professionals navigating the complexities of long-term planning for individuals with disabilities.

 

From early childhood to adulthood, this event provides practical, actionable guidance on critical planning areas—financial security, education, legal tools, government benefits, and independent living. Whether you’re just starting your journey or preparing for adulthood and transition, this conference offers trusted insight, resources, and community.

 

Hosted by All Needs Planning and The 7Q Foundation, the event connects families with top experts, local service providers, nonprofit organizations, and one another.

 

Conference Format

Day 1: Virtual | Planning Essentials

  • Expert-led webinars from nationally recognized speakers

  • Topics include: financial planning, ABLE accounts, SSI/SSDI, and estate planning

  • Live Q&A with speakers

  • Brief nonprofit presentations during intermissions

Day 2: In-Person | Fairfax/Loudoun Focus

  • Breakout tracks based on age and planning stage (Birth–3, School Age, Transition to Adulthood)

  • Keynote speakers on education systems, Medicaid waivers, and guardianship

  • Hands-on learning and networking

  • Vendor fair featuring local and regional organizations

  • Community lunch and social hour
